SAMSUNG AND LG TAKES DOMINATES THE NORTH AMERICAN PHONE MARKET

According to "Strategy Analytics", 1 out of 2 cellphones sold for Q2 2009 in North America are made by either Samsung or LG. Samsung reportedly owns 24.7% of the market share in the US and Canada. The mobile phone manufacturer sold more than 11 million handsets between April and June. LG has also found success in the region with 22.6%.of the market share or around 10.7 million handsets. LG is also the top messaging phone maker and has sold almost 12 million such devices in 2008. via Unwired View |
