SAMSUNG ETERNITY NOW AVAILABLE ON AT&T (AND WHY YOU MIGHT CARE)

The Samsung Eternity has just appeared on the AT&T website for $149.99 (after $50 mail-in rebate). And here's why you should care.

It's actually a full-fledged media powerhouse, packing Mobile TV and a music player. It also has GPS, video capture and sharing, a 3 megapixel camera, and more. Also, it's touchscreen. And everyone wants a touchscreen these days.

Naturally it has the usual bells and whistles of almost any AT&T handset these days packing 3G data and e-mail capabilities. It's not a bad price for what you're getting and I'd say it's a toss-up between the Eternity and the LG VU especially if you want Mobile TV.
