SAMSUNG I7500 JOINS THE GOOGLE ANDROID FAMILY

Samsung was expected to launch at least 3 Google Android phones this year and the first handset has been introduced. The Samsung I7500 featuring a 3.2-inch, 320 x 480 pixel AMOLED touchscreen, is the Seoul, Korean company's first Android-powered mobile phone. Other key features include quad-band GSM, tri-band 7.2Mbps HSDPA (900/1700/2100MHz), WiFi, GPS, 5 megapixel camera with Power LED, 1,500mAh battery and 8GB of internal storage.The Samsung I7500 will be available in major European countries from June, 2009. Unfortunately, a launch into the US was not included in the announcement. However, the Samsung I7500 is also equipped with 1700MHz HSPA frequency so it might be joining the G1 and G2 in T-Mobile's lineup.
