Verizon has announced the arrival of the Samsung Omnia to its already impressive collection of high-end mobile phones. The Samsung Omnia for Verizon Wireless features a 3.2-inch touch-sensitive display with TouchWiz user interface. This new verizon touchscreen device runs on a Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional platform and offers GPS, stereo Bluetooth and WiFi. The Samsung Omnia carries a powerful 5 megapixel camera armed with auto-focus, geo-tagging, auto-panorama, stabilizer, face detection and smile detection. Verizon users can use this device to gain access to third-party content offered at the new VZAppsZone. Verizon Wireless retail stores will sell the Samsung Omnia starting on December 8 for $250 after rebate with new 2 year contract. |
