SHORTAGES DURING PALM PRE RELEASE DATE?

If Sprint CEO Dan Hesse's prediction proves to be true, then It would be a good idea to line up early during the Palm Pre release date. Hesse has stated that Sprint was expecting to have trouble meeting the initial demand for the Palm Pre. The Sprint CEO said, "We don't intend to advertise [the Palm Pre] heavily early on because we think we are going to have shortages for a while. We won't be able to keep up with demand for the device in the early period of time."

Hesse didn't elaborate on how long the Palm Pre shortages would last so we recommend lining up early at Sprint stores, Best Buy, Radio Shack, and select Wal-Mart stores.
