SONY ERICSSON W995A PASSED FCC

The Sony Ericsson W995a has joined the Sony Ericsson W995 in passing the FCC tests. The Sony Ericsson W995a is equipped radios custom-tuned to North America's unique needs. This upcoming handset is similar to the W995, but it was retooled to support quadband EDGE plus WCDMA bands II and V. Thete is no official announcement as to what carrier would cover this device. However, the Sony Ericsson W995a might end up a bit expensive if AT&T and Rogers decide to pass on this handset and its 8.1MP autofocus camera. Via [Engadget Mobile] |
