SOUTH KOREAN TELECOM TO BUY SPRINT?

According to Forbes.com, SK Telecom and Sprint are once again engaged in negotiations. However, some sources say that the discussion between SK Telecom and Sprint does not involve a merger but a joint venture. The mobile phone companies will discuss ideas, new handsets and other shared services and technology. Some experts say that if SK Telecom decides to make any sort of investment in Sprint, then it would not be an outright acquisition. Sprint Nextel and SK Telecom declined to confirm these reports.
