SPRINT TO LAUNCH THE HTC HERO TOWARDS THE END OF 2009?

It appears that Sprint is planning to release its first Google Android phone this year. According to the folks at PhoneNews.com, circulating rumors are reporting Sprint is in the process of testing the HTC Hero with the goal of releasing the Google Android phone toward the end of 2009. The HTC Hero is anAndroid-powered handset that features the new Sense UI, 3.2 inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen and 5-megapixel auto-focus camera. The rumors also indicate that Sprint is testing an Android-powered handset from Samsung that features WiMAX and CDMA.
