SPRINT PRO-RATES ETFS

Sprint has officially announced that the pro-rated early termination fee or ETF of its mobile phone contracts will be implemented starting on November 2nd. Sprint subscribers with new or renewed contracts will have a $200 ETF for the first six months and will be reduced by $10 for the succeeding months. This means that a customer who stays with the contract for 15 months will have a pro-rated ETF of only $100. With this new Sprint ETF policy, the fee for prematurely ending a contract can drop to as low as $50. However, mobile phone contracts that were signed prior to November 2 are not eligible for the pro-rated ETF.
