T-MOBILE SIDEKICK 2009 GAINS FCC APPROVAL!

T-Mobile did not announce the Sidekick 2009 with 3G during the CTIA show earlier this month as we expected. However, the T-Mobile Sidekick 2009 announcement will probably come soon as the device has already gained approval from the FCC. The Danger logo, which is visible on the FCC label, hints that it is the latest Sidekick model.

The FCC documents on the possible T-Mobile Sidekick 2009 indicate that it will have support for the 1700MHz AWS spectrum. This is the same spectrum that T-Mobile uses for its 3G network confirming that the new Sidekick will have 3G support. The documents also indicate that the T-Mobile Sidekick 2009 is manufactured by Sharp and will have GSM radios and Bluetooth.
