Bookmark/Search this post with: AT&T released it's flagship phone last month. However, AT&T is far from done even though the iPhone 3GS is already making waves in the market. Big Blue is still preparing to release more phones for 2009. Let's take a look at what AT&T has to offer for the remainder of the year.
BlackBerry Onyx: This upcoming smartphone is expected to replace the Bold. The BlackBerry Onyx features 3G support, Wi-Fi with UMA, GPS and a 3.2-megapixel camera with flash. Rumors indicate a September release for this smartphone.
LG Opera TV: This TV-centric mobile phone features a 3-inch WVGA touchscreen with S-Class UI. The LG Opera TV carries a powerful 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and flash. This upcoming AT&T cell phone is expected to be released in August 24.
HTC Lancaster: This handset maybe the first Android-based mobile phone for AT&T. The HTC Lancaster sports a 2.8 inch QVGA touchscreen, full QWERTY keyboard and a 3 megapixel fixed-focus camera. This handset is expected to be released on August 3.
Nokia Mako: This message centric mobile phone has been renamed the Nokia 6750 Surge. The Nokia MAko sports a unique futuristic design with a 2.6-inch QVGA touchscreen, four row QWERTY keyboard and Symbian S60 OS. This upcoming AT&T cell phone is exzpected to be released in mid-July.
Palm Eos: This smarphone is expected to be the second webOS device. The palm Eos sports a thin body with a 2.63-inch touch-sensitive display, 2.0 megapixel camera and a full QWERTY keyboard. This webOS device is expected to be relased in the second half of 2009.
Motorola Heron: This cell phone is among Motorola's first series of Android-based phones. The Motorola Heron features a 2.8-inch touchscreen, 3 megapixel camera with flash and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. This handset is expected to be relased on November 2.
LG Shine 2: this second generation device offers an attractive desgin. The sleek LG Shine 2 sports a 2.2-inch QVGA display and a 2 megapixel fixed focus camera. This upcoming AT&T cell phone is expected to be released on August 10.
Nokia Thresher: This sleek slider phone was launched together with the Mako and the Snapper. The Nokia Thresher sports a 2.4 inch displayand a 3.2 megapixel camera with zoom and integrated flash. This sleek slider is expected to be launched on Septmeber 18.
Sony Ericsson C905: This device is expected to be AT&T's first 8 megapixel camera phone. The Sony Ericsson C905 features Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, HSDPA and its 8 megapixel camera with xenon flash and QVGA screen. This handset is rumored to be released at July 19.
Samsung Infinity: This mobile phone is a low-end touchscreen targeted for the masses. The Samsung Infinity features a 3 inch touchscreen, 2-megapixel camera with video recording, dual-band 3G and a microSD slot. This handset is expected to be released in July.
Nokia Snapper: This flip phone is a low-end device with a stylish design. The Nokia Snapper offers a 2 inch QVGA main display, music dedicated keys, 2-megapixel camera and a microSD slot. This clamshell device is rumored to be released in August.
Samsung Trinity: This touchscreen mobile phone sports a dual-slider body with a full QWERTY keyboard. The Samsung Trinity also offers a 2.8 inch touchscreen, 2-megapixel camera with video recording, A-GPS and a microSD slot. This device is expected to be released in August.
