UPCOMING SAMSUNG PHONES

 

Samsung is one of the top mobile phone manufacturers and has managed to keep it's spot by launching innovative devices. Recently, the company has focused it's efforts on designing affordable touchscreen handset and powerful camera phones. Samsung has also announced it's first Android-based smartphone this year and has promised that more will come. Let's take a look at the upcoming Samsung mobile phones for 2009 and see what the cell phone maker has in store for us.

Samsung I7500- this powerful Smartphone is Samsung's Android-powered handset. The Samsung I7500 features a 3.2-inch AMOLED touch screen display, 5.0-megapixel camera  high-speed 7.2Mbps HSDPA Internet,  Wi-Fi connectivity and 8GB of internal memory. This Android-powered Smartphone is expected to hit the market on Q2 of 2009 with an unannounced carrier.

 

 

Samsung Beat DJ: this is another music-centric phone that features technology from Danish audio maker Bang & Olufsen. The Samsung Beat DJ allows users to 'scratch' tracks on its 2.8-inch AMOLED touch screen display. Other features include 3.0-megapixel CMOS camera, HSDPA data, GPS and Bluetooth 2.1. This music phone is expected to hit the market in Q3 2009. No US carrier has yet announced the Samsung Beat Disk.

 

 

Samsung Chianti:This text messaging phone features a slider design with a 2.6 inch landscape display and a full QWERTY keyboard. Other features include a 2 megapixel camera, 3G support, GPS and Bluetooth. The Samsung Chianti will be released on Sprint in Q3 of 2009.

 

 

Samsung Gravity 2: This text messaging handset features a side-sliding featuring QWERTY keyboard and a vibrant color display. Other features include a camera,  Bluetooth, music player and microSD memory card slot. The Samsung Gravity 2 will be released by T-Mobile on July 15, 2009.

 

 

Samsung Blue Earth:  this is an eco-friendly handset that features a a solar panel charger located on its back. The Samsung Blue Earth sports a a pebble-shaped design with a touchscreen display. This mobile phone is expected to is expected to offer a camera, media player, speakerphone and Bluetooth. The Samsung Blue Earth will be released internationally in Q3 of 2009.

 

 

Samsung Dash: this handset's  features a 3.2-inch touchscreen and a 5 megapixel camera. Other features include 3G capability, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and a full HTML browser. The Samsung Dash  will be released on Sprint on Q2 of 2009.

 

 

 

Samsung T439: This is a simple texting mobile phone that features a 20 key "SureType" typing method. Other features include a 1.3MP camera, speakerphone, and stereo Bluetooth. The Samsung T439 is expected to be released by T-Mobile on May 20.

 

 

Samsung Beat Disc: this stylish music phone features technology from Danish audio maker Bang & Olufsen. The Samsung Beat Disk offers a 2.6-inch AMOLED half-touch screen and a 3 megapixel camera with digital zoom. This Samsung music phone is expected to hit the market in Q3 2009. No US carrier has yet announced the Samsung Beat Disk.

 

 

Samsung Exclaim: This two-way slider features flexibility with both a numeric keypad and full QWERTY keyboard. Other features include a vibrant display, 2 megapixel camera, GPS  and music player. The Samsung is expected to be released by Sprint in June 7, 2009.

 

 

Samsung S8300: this slider phone sports a slim body with a slider with a 2.8-inch AMOLED touch-sensitive display and an 8.0-megapixel camera.The Samsung S8300: also offers GPS, FM radio with RDS, stereo Bluetooth and DivX support. This camera phone is expected to be released internationally in Q3 of 2009.

 

 

Samsung XO: this messaging phone features a side slider design with QWERTY keyboard. Other features include camera, brilliant color display, Bluetooth, music player and microSD slot. The Samsung XO will be released by T-Mobile on July 15, 2009.

 

 

 

 These upcoming Samsung phones indicate that the company has a firm hold on its spot on the handset manufacturing food chain. The company's decision to offer Android powered-handsets also show that Samsung is headed into the right direction. The sale of Android-powered handset is expected to soar in the coming years so Samsung has positioned itself in the right spot. It's clear that we can expect more innovative upcoming Samsung phones in the years to come.

Samsung XO

Wow Samsung sure has been working hard to satisfy their costumers! I am really liking the look of the last one, the Samsung XO. I heard it also comes in red... It looks so unique! I am keeping an eye out for it!

Great information on the new Samsung phones. I have a Gravity right now and wasn't aware they are working on a Gravity2!
