UPCOMING SPRINT PHONES

 

Two of Sprint's best phones for 2009 are already available in the market. The Palm Pre and the BlackBerry Tour are arguably two of the best mobile phones to enter the market this year. However, Sprint is far from done and six months is plenty of time to launch new phones. Let's look at the upcoming Sprint phones for the rest of 2009:

HTC Touch Pro2: This mobile phone is expected to be available in multiple carrier's this year and it will also do well in Sprint's line up. This upcoming Sprint phone is arguably the best Windows Mobile powered-smartphone ever created. The HTC TOuch Pro sports a 3.6 inches touch-sensitive display with TouchFLO 3D interface, QWERTY keyboard, 3.2-megapixel camera, 3G support, WiFi, and GPS.

 

Samsung Dash: This highly anticipated mobile phone comes with a 3.2-inch touchscreen and a powerful 5 megapixel camera. The Samsung Dash also provides 3G capability, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and full HTML browser. Sprint subscribers should expect this device to arrive in Q2 2009.

 

Samsung Ace II: This Windows-Mobile powered Smartphone offers a great set of features including a 2.6 inch landscape display, 3 megapixel camera, full QWERTY keyboard, 3G support, Wi-Fi, GPS, Stereo Bluetooth, FM Radio and a microSD/microSDHC memory card slot. The Samsung Ace II is expected to be released in the third quarter.

 

Sanyo SCP-3810: This simple but stylish flip phone sports a 2.4 inch main QVGA display and a 1.3 megapixel camera with digital zoom. The Samsung SCP-3810 also provides GPS, music player, a microSD/microSDHC memory card slot and Bluetooth. This clamshell phone is coming in Q3.

 

Motorola i365: This tough iDEN phone projects a construction-grade appearance. The Motorola i365 is certified for military specification requirements including humidity, blowing rain, dust, shock and vibration. This simple but durable handset offers GPS, web access, mobile email, a speakerphone, Bluetooth, and voice dialing.

 

Samsung Chianti/Reclaim: This message-centric phone sports a slider body with a 2.6 inch landscape display and a full QWERTY keyboard. The key features for this upcoming Sprint phone include 3G support, GPS, Bluetooth and a microSD card slot. The Samsung Chianti or exclaim is expected to land some time in August.
