PC Mag reports that several members of Congress have introduced a bill on banning passengers on U.S. flights from making calls on their handsets. However, the bill would allow text messaging and Online surfing using mobile phones. The main reason for introducing the bill was to ensure that using cell phones in-flight will not worsen airline passenger-experience. A poll sponsored by the Association of Flight Attendants and the National Consumers League found that only 21 percent of passengers want to remove the restriction on airplane cell phone use |
