It appears that Verizon and Nokia have formed a partnership to take down the iPhone. According to the folks at TheStreet, Nokia and Verizon are working together to come up with a high-end touch-sensitive mobile phone for the upcoming 4G LTE network. This mutual partnership is expected to benefit both of these telecommunications companies. Working with Verizon on exclusive 4G LTE touchscreen handset, will give Nokia the opportunity to regain its market share in the US. On the other hand, Verizon will have a capable technology partner that could provide a high-end device capable of pulling customers away from the iPhone. |
