VERIZON ANNOUNCES ZTE AD3700 BROADBAND USB MODEM

 

Verizon Wireless and ZTE USA have just announced the ZTE AD3700 USB modem, the latest addition to its global roaming-ready mobile broadband lineup. The  AD3700 gives customers access to high-speed networks in more than 17 destinations, including Evolution-Data Optimized (EV-DO), Global System for Mobile communications (GSM)/General Packet Radio Service (GPRS)/Enhanced Data Rates for Global Evolution (EDGE) and High Speed Packet Access (HSPA)/Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) wireless platforms.

The ZTE AD3700 USB modem has every type of connectivity you could ever need:EV-DO, GSM, GPRS, EDGE and UMTS are all covered. The device works by having users activate the global feature on their Verizon Wireless account and the AD3700 automatically detects the local network and connects to the fastest Internet speed available from almost anywhere in the world.

The ZTE AD3700 will hit stores starting tomorrow for $79.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate on a new 2-year mobile broadband contract.
