VERIZON SAMSUNG OMNIA SEES DISCOUNT (THAT WAS FAST)
Submitted by Noe on Mon, 12/01/2008 - 12:33.Bookmark/Search this post with: ![]() Verizon has already discounted the Samsung Omnia a mere 8 days prior to its arrival at their retail stores. The price is now $199 after a $70 mail-in rebate as opposed to the previous price: $249 after $70 mail-in rebate. The Omnia had already been available for order online since the 26th of November. It's unclear if Verizon will be price adjusting for those who have already ordered. You'd have to imagine they would. For those who are still curious, the Omnia is a Windows Mobile smartphone operated via a 3.2-inch touchscreen. It packs a 5MP camera(!!!), GPS, WiFi, 8GB(!!!) of built-in memory, TV out, FM radio, and DivX/Xvid playback to boot. It's a great deal....if you're only in the market for a Windows Mobile 6.1 device that is. |
