WIFI IDEN BLACKBERRY FOR SPRINT

Here's some interesting news for Sprint subscribers. According to Gearlog.com, Sprint CEO, Dan Hesse, made a surprising announcement during his keynote speech at CTIA 2008. Hesse revealed that by the end of the year, Sprint will offer a Wifi equipped Blackberry. This statement caused quite a stir because the iDEN network only has an outdated 7100i and a modern smart phone will boost the ailing network. The CEO also announced that new handsets from LG, Motorola, Sanyo and Samsung will be launched on Nextel's "push-to-X" network., these new devices will feature push button "Chirp" services but will run on Sprint's CDMA network.
