Here's some intriguing mobile phone scoop for Sprint subscribers. According to Phonearena.com, Sprint has confirmed that the WiMax service will begin to operate this month in Baltimore. The Sprint Wimax service launch in Washington D.C. and Chicago has been set for the fourth quarter. The building of base stations in Boston, Philadelphia and Dallas-Fort Worth was also confirmed by Sprint. The announcement also revealed that Sprint's WiMax will be able to offer "geobrowsing" with help from uLocate's software. The announcement also revealed some information on the upcoming launch devices. The information indicated that there were five devices and four of them are modems.
