PALM SELLING PRE AND PIXI WITHOUT CONTRACT
Submitted by Amber on Tue, 02/02/2010 - 13:41.Bookmark/Search this post with: With the new launch of webOS phones through Verizon, Palm.com also initiated it's own updates that gives customers the option to purchase the Palm Pre or Pixi contract free. Costs of these contract free devices range from $549 for the Palm Pre to $399 for the Pixi/Pixi Plus and for the Pre Plus for $599. While a customer does not have to have a contract, the phones continue to be CDMA based, meaning you must have a contract with Sprint or Verizon to use the device. We're crossing our fingers for a GSM device soon, but for now developers can only work to bypass the initial registration screen to use the device for other purposes. |
