Today at CES Palm announced webOS devices will now have the power to record and edit video. This update will arrive OTA and is expected sometime in February. Finally the Pre and Pixi will add features that will catch them up to speed with the rest of the market. This is also great news for Verizon and AT&T who will soon carry webOS devices such as the Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus. The editing tool will be similar to iPhone video editing where users can trim video and save a new version of the clip. Also featured with the new video recording tools is a quick upload to sites such as Facebook , YouTube and MySpace with a single click of a button; and thanks to background apps uploads can occur while completing other tasks on your device. |
