For those Android users on the T-Mobile plan prepare for your Android Market purchases to be streamlined. T-Mobile will now let subscribers pay for android applications through their T-Mobile bill, expediting the process from using Google checkout or entering the subscribers own credit card information prior to purchase. With over 12,000 applications in the Android Market, this will greatly increase the user experience for Android Market users. This feature is scheduled to roll out November 17th. T-Mobile also plans to add a new feature to the Android Market called the T-Mobile channel. The T-Mobile channel will highlight the cell phone's companies applications and will attempt to gain more consumer attention. Verizon with the release of the new Motorola Droid and HTC Droid Eris today will also be looking to launch it's own channel in the Android Market. |
