AT&T has just released a new application for the iPhone called "Mark the Spot." The app, which is free, will allow iPhone users to provide AT&T with feedback about their network experiences via reports. Users can report anything that may be causing interference while trying to make a phone call, such as dropped calls, failed calls, no coverage, data failure, of poor voice quality. Users can also rate the frequency of these occurrences, from once, to seldom, to often, to always Once the reports have been completed, they will be sent to AT&T, and the customer will receive an SMS message acknowledging that the message was received. AT&T says this information gathered by users of this application will help it to provide "the best network experience possible." Mark the Spot works with iPhones running system software 3.0 and higher. |
