NOKIA LAUNCHES 2710 NAVIGATION EDITION

 

Nokia has just announced the launching of their newest phone the 2710- apparently the company's most affordable Nokia Maps loaded, GPS-enabled phone.

The phone, which is supposed to be "popular in the developed and developing world alike," incorporates straight line navigations with the assistance of an integrated digital compass, and also includes turn-by-turn driving navigation with full voice guidance. It features a 2.2-inch display, an 18-day standby time, and 4.3 hours of talk time. Additionally, the 2710 comes with maps pre-loaded, and users can store maps and media on a 2GB microSD card.

The 2710 also comes with a 2.0 megapixel camera , Ovi Mail, instant messaging, and an mp3 player and FM radio. Users can listen to both the mp3 player and the radio using headphones that plug into the devices 3.5mm audio jack. It comes with a car cradle so you can place the phone somewhere while you are navigating.

The estimated retail price of the Nokia 2710 Navigation Edition will be EUR 110 and it should start sales in the second quarter of 2010.
