PALM RELEASES WEBOS 1.3.1.

If you own a Palm Pre, you can now update your Pre's firmware. Over the weekend, Plam released webOS 1.3.1. New features of this firmware update include the integration of Yahoo!, contact and calendar syncing in Synergy, forwarding and copying SMS/MMS, assigning of ringtones as a new message alert, watching of widescreen movies in default widescreen mode, a slider navigation bar to move forward or backward when a song is playing, plus more. 

Unfortunately, if you previously enjoyed iTunes syncing with their Palm Pre, the latest webOS firmware doesn’t fix what Apple disabled in the latest version of iTunes. Despite this, webOS 1.3.1 looks like a pretty decent firmware update that every Palm Pre owner is sure to love.
