SONY ERICSSON'S INTRODUCES THE ELM: THE NEWEST PHONE IN THEIR GREENHEART INITIATIVE

 

These days, going green is red hot. Sony Ericsson has recognized this, and has announced their brand new candybar phone, called The Elm. The phone is part of the manufacturer's GreenHeart project, whose initiative is to help the company reduce its C02 emissions by 20 percent by 2015. The phone is made of recycled plastic, uses a low-power charger, and comes with minimized packaging to help meet that goal.

The phone will feature:
·         5-megapixel camera
·         Noise-reduction technology
·         Easy access to social networks
·         aGPS technology that works with Google Maps
·         Wisepilot (built-in turn-by-turn navigation)
This phone is not only great for the environment but is also loaded with features. It comes with Wi-Fi, GPS, a noise shielf, clear voice and intelligent volume adaptation, and it even has a splash-resistant body. You can also backup your personal information online at Sony ericsson’s website, here.Users can also access social networks like Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter. The Sony Ericsson Elm will be available in the first quarter of 2010. Pricing has not been announced
The Sony Ericsson Elm has a thickness of 14 mm and a weight of 90 grams and will be available in Metal Black and Pearly Rose from Q1 2010.
