SPRINT'S PALM PRE NOW AVAILABLE THROUGH AMAZON
Submitted by Dayna Danson on Mon, 11/23/2009 - 12:42.Bookmark/Search this post with: It appears as if Sprint's Palm Pre is experiencing another drop in price at some third-party retailers, one of whom is Amazon.com. The webOS-powered device, has a touchscreen display and slide-out full-QWERTY keyboard, and is now available for $79.99 at the online retailer. This is great news considering when the Pre first launched in stores it was sold for $199 with a two-year contract or $549 without a customer agreement. The new price point or the Palm rivals that of the Palm Pixi, the company's second webOS-powered handset with less attractive technical offerings. The Pixi is available from Sprint for $99.99 after a two-year customer agreement.
