CELLPHONES THAT ARE POPULARIZED BY CELEBRITIES

Nowadays, it is evident that cell phone manufacturers and carriers have been trying their best to put their phones in the hands of celecbrities in order to generate more sales. If you are fond of watching TV series, you will know that 24 star Jack Bauer uses Sprint phone, Gossip Girls have Verizon handsets and the cast of the Hills have AT&T. The characters in the TV series are not saying a word about the brand of the phone or their carrier but they only hold their phones in order to flash the logos.

Cell phones are not only making its way in televesion shows but they have also penetrated the music industry. Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Katy Perry sported Nokia phones in there recent videos. Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phone was seen in Britney Spears' "Womanizer" and Christina Aguilera's Keeps Gettin' Better" videos. The same phone was used by Katy Perry in her "Waking up in Vegas" video while she used N96 in her "Hot N Cold" music video.

Other phones can be spotted in some movies last year. Sony Ericsson's Cyber-shot C902 eas featured in Quantum of Solace while LG created a limited edition of Versa phone for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
