LG GW300: A MUST-HAVE GADGET FOR SOCIAL BUTTERFLIES

At first glance, I thought I was staring on a Blackberry handset and I was surprised to find out that it was a LG GW300. Keeping their promise to deliver "novative social networking handsets", LG released LG GW300 last year. This phone was not only designed for teens and tweens, but also for social butterflies who are young at heart.

Nowadays, teenagers enjoyed sending text messages and staying in touch with friends through social networks. LG saw these factors hence, they came up with a phone that gives access to Facebook and comfortable keypads for fast typing. LG GW300 is also packed with LiveSquare that allows the every user to display the avatars of their favorite contacts. Therefore, when a friends sends a message, his or her avatar will appear in the 2.4 inch display of the phone.

Since this phone is created for the younger generation, it has limited features. It lacks the following features:

• 3G or Wi-Fi
• Auto focus or flash (camera)
• DivX/Xvid video support
• Office document viewer
