FREE WI-FI FROM MCDONALD'S STARTING NEXT YEAR!

More info about this sweet promotion after the jump. Just like Google making Wi-Fi free at several airports this holiday season, McDonald's is opting to reduce the hassle of going online in a public place by removing the $2.95 fee normally imposed by AT&T starting in January 2010. Now, regardless of what you think of McDonald's food quality or business practice, this is a step in the right direction for all public places that offer wireless internet. You shouldn't have to give enough personal information to apply for a job, nor have to fork over a credit card in order to check Facebook while eating lunch. Don't be surprised if various other small restaurants and public places start to reduce (or remove) their Wi-Fi fees. |
