NOKIA TWIST COMING TO VERIZON
Submitted by JBlock on Fri, 09/04/2009 - 12:10.Bookmark/Search this post with: In the vein of Nokia's recent SMS-friendly device (the Surge), Verizon will be coming out with a new phone for the younger crowd on September 21 (the 19th in NYC). But wait a second...doesn't that phone look familiar? (More info after the jump). Click the image above to see a larger version. This thing looks like the super-fake Nokla (with an 'l') E81 with its little swivel ring, as shown in the picture below.
So somebody's copying somebody here; we just don't know who :). This phone has the usual array of features, like a 3 megapixel camera, HTML Browser, EV-DO, and a swiveling keyboard (obviously). It's going to be available for $149.99 with a 2-year contract from Verizon, though you can probably import the Nokla version for a bit less. [via Engadget] |
