PALM TO HAVE CES 2010 PRESENTATION. NEW SMARTPHONES ON THE WAY?

Palm has sent out invitations for a presentation at CES. Last year, they came out of the recesses of the tech world by unveiling the stunning Palm Pre and their new WebOS operating system. What will they unveil this year?

Well, for one, the Pre is stuck on Sprint, which isn't the hottest carrier out there. Since there is a GSM version of the device floating around the rest of the world, it wouldn't be surprising to announce an iteration for T-Mobile or AT&T. They could also bring the phone to Sprint's CDMA competitor--Verizon.

But beyond the Pre, it wouldn't be surprising at all to see a completely new WebOS device or even a new, slimmer Pre. All we know is that we'll find out in early January at CES.
