Submitted by Junelle on Mon, 09/07/2009 - 16:57.Bookmark/Search this post with: Regional Director for HTC Germany, Lars Christian Weisswange, has confirmed that owners of the HTC Touch Pro2, Diamond2 and Snap will be able to upgraded their smartphones to the Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5 OS after the release on October. This upcoming ROM update will be free and will feature the latest version of TouchFLO 3D, which reportedly borrows its look and feel from HTC’s Sense UI for Android. However, there is no clear info yet on when the ROM upgrade will be provided and which countries or carriers are included. The xda developers forum is currently offering Windows Mobile 6.5 ROMs for users who are unable to get an “official” update. via BGR
