How To Backup Your Blackberry

start BlackBerry desktop manager and connect your BlackBerry to your computer. When it recognizes your device is connected, click "backup and restore"

you will then see the backup restore and advanced screen, under backup click options and customize the options for your needs, then click 'ok' and click "Back up"

Next a screen will appear to save your backup with a specific file name, the default is Backup-(date), but you can change the file name to anything you wish. Once you select a name click 'save'

Lastly your backup will be created, once the progress bar is finished your device has been backed up.
