Yes!!! Finally MMS is available on the AT&T network for iphone 3G and 3GS owners. With a few simple updates you'll be sending and receiving picture messages in no time!

Instructions Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You'll Need:

  • iPhone 3G or 3GS
  • computer with iTunes

Make sure your computer has iTunes 8.2 +

connect your iPhone to the computer and open iTunes

Select your device in the devices list and click 'Check for update'

Update to iPhone OS 3.1 if you haven't already done so

Once update is complete restart your iPhone

power back on your device

iPhone MMS
After the iPhone restarts create a new text message and you should see a camera icon to the left of the text field similar to the one in the image.

 

Tips & Warnings
  • If you are unable to send MMS, go through the above steps again.
  • Make sure you are using iPhone OS 3.1 and iTunes 8.2 or later
  • MMS will not work on the original iPhone
