How To Install New Applications On Your Palm Pre

Open the App Catalog

Swipe your finger left or right on the thumbnails to view featured and popular apps.

To search for an app tap search, enter search criteria, and tap enter

To view apps in top categories, tap top tags

To browse all categories scroll to the bottom of the page and tap tag cloud and tap the desired category to browse

When you find an app you want to download, tap the name to view the app details. On this screen you can view reviews, see screenshots, go to the app developers home page, flag as inappropriate

To purchase and download, tap download. If you have already purchased the app the download button will not appear. If an update is available you can tap update to update the app. If the app isn't free you will be taken to the developers page to purchase the app.

After you download an app tap 'tap to launch' to open the app.

 

• You can browse apps by name date rating or price.
• Make sure you have enough storage space to save the app before downloading.
• After you download an app you are then able to rate it and add reviews.
• Tapping download commits you to buying or updating the app.
• Only WebOS apps will work on the Pre
