  • T-Mobile My Touch 3G
  • Google Voice account

If you do not have Google Voice go to http://www.google.com/voice to request and account.

Go to the marketplace and download the Google Voice application onto your device.

After the app installs, follow the wizard and login in with your account until you come to the settings screen.

Next select which way you would like to use Google voice, either with your google voice number, for international calls, or only for messages.

Now for your phone settings... go to settings > call settings > call forwarding change all of your call forwarding numbers to your google voice number

That's it. Transcripts will look something like this, its not 100% accurate, but it's pretty close.

 

Tips & Warnings
  • change your google voice setting online to "do not disturb" to send all calls to your google voice number straight to voicemail
  • Save your old T-Mobile voicemail number in your address book in case you ever want to uninstall Google voice
