- Google Apps account

Wipe the data from your BlackBerry (make sure you completely backed up your device): menu > options > security options > general settings, select menu and the 'wipe handheld' option. Select continue and enter "blackberry" to confirm the wipe.4
Activate and Sync your BlackBerry: Skip the setup wizard. Select the menu button and open Manage Applications. Select Mobile Network and click to enable. Exit the application. Open options, select advanced options, select enterprise activation. Enter the primary e-mail address associated with your Google Apps account. Enter the BlackBerry activation password provided by your IT administrator. Press menu and select activate. 5
Your BlackBerry will now sync your email, calendar, and contacts with your Google Apps account. This may take anywhere from 5-15 minutes.6
Restore your BlackBerry data: Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager. Connect your device to your computer. Select Backup and Restore, select Advanced. Disable wireless synchronization on your device. Go to File, Open and open the file you previously saved in step 1. To restore data to your BlackBerry, select an item in the left pane, and then click the right arrow button between the panes.
Tips & Warnings
- Calendar sync is only one way, from Google apps to your BlackBerry.
- Contacts can take 5 mins to update from Gmail to BlackBerry.
- Memopad, Tasks and Password Keeper are local to your BlackBerry and don't sync to other devices.
