tap the camera icon on the home screen or in the application drawer

if necessary drag the slider to the camera icon to go from video to camera mode

To control settings tap the slider on the left of the camera screen

zoom in and out by touching the screen and using the zoom in(plus button) or zoom out(minus button) buttons. or double tap the screen to zoom all the way in or all the way out

tap the shutter icon to take the photo, and review the photo by tapping the thumbnail of the image in the upper right hand corner
