How To Use The New Windows Mobile Facebook App

Install the Facebook cab-installer on your device.

Login or create an account if you don't have one.

First screen and tab is the homescreen where you are able to view the news feed, status updates or photo updates. The bottom left softkey allows you to refresh your homescreen to stay up-to-date on all information updates.

The next tab is the profile tab. Here you are able to view your wall, your information, and your photos. By selecting the left softkey on this tab you are able to instantly update your status.

The 3rd tab is your friends tab. Here you view your friends in alphabetical order by last name. By clicking on a friend you can view his/her profile or send them a message. Selecting the left softkey allows you to search for a friend while selecting the right softkey allows for filtering.

Next is the inbox where you can view messages, view sent messages, view notifications (ie. respond to pokes), and respond to requests (such as fan requests or friend). Here the left softkey becomes a compose button to instantly create a message to send to a friend.

Last tab is the phonebook section. Here the phonebook is laid out like the friends tab but instead you see the phone numbers they entered in their profile. By simply selecting the left softkey you can instantly call your Facebook friends.

The newest feature of a mobile Facebook application is the ability to upload video. From the home screen select the right softkey or menu button and you can update status, add video or photos, and log out.
