iPhone 3Gs includes a new application called Voice Memos. It lets you records just about anything and share it via email or MMS.

Instructions Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You'll Need:

  • iPhone 3GS

Voice Memo Icon
Launch the voice memos app by tapping the icon

Start / Stop Record
Record a voice memo by tapping the round icon on the lower left

Record a voice message

Tap the same icon to stop recording

See Recordings
You could view your recordings by tapping the round icon on the lower right

Recording List
Upon viewing your list, you could tap to play it or tap the rightmost portion of it to view more info.

Custom Name
In more info, you could label it or give it a custom name, trim and share

 

Voice Memos sound quality

Isn't there a way to change the sound quality in voice memos before recording? I could have sworn there was -- like a "normal" and "high" quality toggle. Non?
