How To Make Your Own Sony Ericsson Theme

Your Sony Ericsson phone comes with a default theme. However, you may want to change the theme to be in match with your personality or mood. There are lots of available themes online or you can design your own. This step-by-step guideline would teach you how to create your very own theme.

Things You'll Need:

Sony Ericsson Theme Creator Installer
Sony Ericsson Phone
Laptop or a desktop computer

You need to have first the Sony Ericsson Themes Creator. If you do not have it, you can download it online at Download Sony Ericsson Theme Creator Software

Select your computer’s operating system, download, and then install the Sony Ericsson application.

Run the application, then choose the phone model that you want to create a theme for.

Choose Tools and then go to Export empty resources.

Choose the folder to get all the empty resource files. Browse on the folder.

Modify the file by using your installed picture editing application.

Go back again to the Themes Creator and select Tools then import resources. Choose the folder where you have saved your modified image files.

The Themes Creator has several tabs to modify your theme’s color scheme and other information. Utilize the tabs.

Save your modified file and send it to your cellphone via Bluetooth or USB cable.

Tips & Warnings

You can try GIMP or Paint.NET if there is no picture editing application installed on your computer.

i already created a theme and save it on my desktop but when i transfer it into my cellphone i dnt know how to save in on the theme folder.How can i place it on my theme section? so i can use it.

When you're transferring the file, go to either the memory card or phone memory folder (depending on which one you use) and there's a folder that should say "theme" or something like that. That's where you put it and then on your phone, go to settings, then display, and the second thing on the list should say "theme". Just choose that and it takes you to the themes folder and select your theme ^^
