Text messaging is another form of communication among people. You can send text messages to confirm your location, send information to an address or even confirm an attendance for a reunion. Text messaging is done by typing the letters that correspond to the numbers on your keypad. This instructional guide would give you the steps on how to send a text message on a Sony Ericsson K750i. |

1
Press on the Menu key. 2
Go to Messaging and select Write Message. You will be given several options. For this guide, you need to select Text Message.3
Type in your message. Remember that the letters correspond to the numeric keys on your phone. For example, you want to type the letters ABC. To type these, you need to press number 2 once for A, twice for B, and thrice for C. The same goes for the other letters.4
Press Continue. 5
Now you need to put in the number of the text message recipient. There are two ways in which you can put in the number. If the recipient is already recorded in your phonebook, you can select Contacts Lookup and browse the phonebook. The other option is by selecting Phone Number and type in the numbers manually.6
Then press Send.
Tips & Warnings
- The total capacity of a text message is only 160 characters. That includes the letters, punctuation marks and spaces. Exceeding 160 characters would be considered two text messages and thus will cost twice. The phone will indicate “SMS 2” which means that you have already exceeded the 160 character limit.
- If you get hooked into text messaging or if you have been using text messaging more as a means of communication, we suggest that you get an unlimited text messaging plan to avoid large bills.
