How To Add A New Exchange Email Account On The T-mobile Htc Touch Pro2

To begin, touch and hold the active tab at the Home screen of the HTC Touch Pro2

Then slide left or right to the Mail tab.

Tap New account and then tap Outlook setup

If your company supports synchronizing directly with the Exchange Server, tap the link, you can set up your device to sync with it.

Enter your e-mail address and password

You can select the Attempt to detect Exchange Server Settings automatically check box if you want.

Tap Next and enter your user name, password and domain.

Tap Next and enter your server address

Select the This server requires an encrypted (SSL) connection check box (If required) and then tap Next

If you wish to synchronize then aelect the following check boxes: Contacts, Calendar, E-mail, and Tasks. Then tap Finish

Wait as Your device syncs automatically with the Exchange Server. Press the Home key to return to the Home screen when your device has finished synchronizing.

Touch and hold the active tab and slide left or right to the Mail tab tab. Finally, tap the newly created Outlook icon to view e-mail

 

• The server address for Exchange is the same as your Outlook Web Access server address.
