The sidekick is back. This time it comes with a bunch of cool features including the ability to share its mobile data connection with a single computer via a USB cable. Here's how to enable USB tethering on the T-Mobile Sidekick 4G
|Instructions||Difficulty: Moderately Easy|
Things You'll Need:
- USB cable
- Tethering works with Windows® 7, Windows XP and Windows Vista. If additional software or USB drivers are required, go to www.samsung.com/us/downloads to download the software or drivers to the computer you wish to tether to.
- When your device is serving as a Wi-Fi hotspot for other devices, you cannot access the Internet using the phone itself.
- When you connect your phone to your computer with the USB cable, you can either tether or access files on the memory card, but you cannot do both. If you want to use your computer to access the memory card, then you must turn off tethering.
