The iPhone has been praised for being multiple gadgets in a single device. It's a great cell phone, a widescreen iPod and a breakthrough Internet device. It also offers other wonderful features and capabilities such as access to Google maps. This great iPhone features helps users find their destination and locate places all over the globe. Let me give you a few steps on how to use this feature.

Things You'll Need:

iPhone

Locate and Click on the map icon on the iPhone's homescreen

Now that the maps application is open, you can now locate the search field at the top of the iPhone screen

Click the search field to bring up the key board

Enter the specific address or location on the search field

Tap "Search" after you have entered the specific address

The device will then provide a Google map with various locations based on the address you've entered

Tap the pin near a particular location to bring up information on that location

Click or tap the black icon that has a white up and down arrow to get directions to a particular location. You need to enter your starting location and intended destination in the respective fields top get the directions.

Tips & Warnings

Double tap part of the map or pinch out to make a part of the map field larger.
you can use the satellite view instead of the maps view by simply tapping "Satellite."
