Disable 3G, WiFi, push email and Bluetooth on your iPhone when you don't need those features. These features draw the most power because they broadcast or receive a wireless signal.3
Reduce the brightness of the iPhone's display. This can be done in the Settings menu. Simply go to Settings > Brightness and drag the slider to the left to adjust the iPhone's default screen brightness.

5
Disable the touchscreen audio keyboard clicks. This way you won't spend power on audio clicks when you use the touchscreen. 6
Enable Airplane Mode on your iPhone in low- or no-coverage areas. Your iPhone uses more power in low- or no-coverage areas because it constantly tries to maintain a connection with the cellular network. The downside is that you won't be able to make or receive calls while on airplane mode. To turn on Airplane Mode, go to Settings and set Airplane Mode to On.7

8
Heat is your enemy. Store your iPhone at room temperature and do not expose it to direct sunlight. Exposure to heat causes damage to lithium-ion batteries due to intense ionization.9
Minimize your use of location services on your iPhone. Applications that actively use location services such as Google Maps may reduce battery life. To disable location services, go to Settings > General > Location Services.10
Turn off EQ on your iPhone to save more power. Enabling the equalizer setting to song playback on your iPhone consumes a significant amount of battery life. Simply go to Settings > iPod > EQ and tap Off to disable the iPhone equalizer setting.
Tips & Warnings
- A properly maintained iPhone battery is designed to retain up to 80% of its original capacity at 400 full charge and discharge cycles.
- Proper maintenance of a lithium-based battery requires keeping the electrons in it moving occasionally. Go through at least one charge cycle per month (charging the battery to 100% and then completely running it down).
- the iPhone's battery isn't easily user replaceable and lithium-ion batteries inevitably degrade a little every time they're recharged
- Keep in mind that the less your iPhone is doing, the longer it will last
