Things You'll Need:

PC with Internet access
BlackBerry Smartphone

Turn on your PC and open your web browser

Visit the BlackBerry website or other site with information on the latest OS update

Find out if there are any OS update for the particular model of BlackBerry that you own

Some BlackBerry websites provide information on the fixes and improvements included in the latest update. However, this may depend on the carrier

Download the latest OS for your BlackBerrry Smartphone and save it on your PC.

After you have successfully downloaded the latest BlackBerry OS update, then you can proceed to running the Install file

Use a USB cable to connect your PC to your BlackBerry Smartphone

Once you have successfully joined your BlackBerry Smartphone to your PC then you will be notified by the BlackBerry Desktop Manager that application updates for your device are available
