To find your current software version by entering *#0000# on your Nokia device's keypad. The version number will look similar to this: V 12.3.4563
Then you need to find the latest available device software update, you need your device’s product code. The code is printed on the white label beneath the battery and will look similar to this: CODE: 05200014
After finding out if your Nokia 5610 XpressMusic needs a software update, then you need to back up all the data and content (contacts, photos and messages) in your handset memory.5
Now you need to run the Nokia Updating software. If you don't have it in your PC, then simply down loaid it from Nokia's website and uinstall it on your PC.6
