The Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for the LG Thrill 4G from AT&T has finally landed. This software provides a 2D and 3D video editor, faster gallery performance, improved video quality, UI tweaks and browser improvements. - LG Mobile Support Tool
- USB cable
First you need to down load the LG MOBILE SUPPORT TOOL
to your PC. See here: http://www.lg.com/us/support/mobile-devices/phone-support
Install the LG Mobile Support Tool application and launch the application.
Click Customer Support > Application, Manual & USB Driver Download menu
Then enter a value for "IMEI" or "serial number" in your phone and click Search
Download manual and software (Manual, PC sync, Drivers) for your phone.
Then connect the LG Thrill 4G to your computer using the USB cable
The application (LG Mobile Support Tool) will then analyze your cell phone environment. Then it will download the update program.
The LG Mobile Support Tool will then run the update. The update takes approx. 10-30 minutes. Then tap Quit
when the update is complete.
Tips & Warnings
- Fully charge the battery before updating.
- Save any important data onto the PC through PC Sync before upgrading your firmware.
- Remove the SD card.
- Calling and messaging functions are not available during the update process.
- Do not disconnect the USB cable until the update is completed.
