First you need to down load the LG MOBILE SUPPORT TOOL to your PC. See here: http://www.lg.com/us/support/mobile-devices/phone-support2
Install the LG Mobile Support Tool application and launch the application. 3
Click Customer Support > Application, Manual & USB Driver Download menu.4
Then enter a value for "IMEI" or "serial number" in your phone and click Search.5
Download manual and software (Manual, PC sync, Drivers) for your phone.6

The application (LG Mobile Support Tool) will then analyze your cell phone environment. Then it will download the update program. 8
Tips & Warnings
- Fully charge the battery before updating.
- Save any important data onto the PC through PC Sync before upgrading your firmware.
- Remove the SD card.
- Calling and messaging functions are not available during the update process.
- Do not disconnect the USB cable until the update is completed.
